There are times when you should not go into incarnation. It is the time when your Higher Selves are experiencing their own struggles. When  your incarnation does not work, when you feel like one area of your life is suffering, if you feel like there is no support, no help, no understanding, no success consistently and the impact of those influences is beyond normal to the degree of impossibility, it is a strong sign that your Higher Self is in a "desert period".
